I am writing this appeal to clarify the situation regarding my ban issued today (17.01.2026).
The Context:I haven't played on the server for a long time, so I was completely unaware that the scanning protocol had changed to EDC (Easy Cheat Detector). My previous experience was only with Wargods. When Admin LongHorn requested the scan, I asked for instructions because I genuinely didn't know about this new tool.
The Incident:After LongHorn explained what to do, I immediately Googled, downloaded, and ran the tool to comply. However, while the scan was running, my antivirus software (Bitdefender) falsely flagged the EDC scanner as a threat.
The Technical Error:Bitdefender automatically quarantined the files and terminated the process mid-scan. This forced the game/scan to close, making it look like I disconnected or refused to scan. I have attached a screenshot from my Bitdefender logs showing the "Quarantine" event timestamp matches the exact time of the scan to prove this.
Conclusion:It is very important to me to make this clear: I am not a cheater and never have been. I play fair, and for me, that is the only way to play.
I know this might sound like I am just making excuses ("stories"), but that doesn't matter. I have added the scanner to my exceptions list and I am ready to run the scan immediately. Once I am unbanned and pass the scan, you will see that I play exactly the same way as I did when I was banned.
